South Korean Ballerino Park Yoon-jae Has Become the First Korean Male Dancer to Win the Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland

The Prix de Lausanne is recognized as one of the world‘s top five ballet competitions, alongside the Varna, Jackson IBC, Moscow, and Paris competitions. Open exclusively to students aged 15 to 18, it is often regarded as a gateway for aspiring dancers.

This marks the first time a Korean male dancer has won the Prix de Lausanne. Previously, in 1985, ballerina Kang Sue-jin became the first Korean to claim victory in the competition. Congratulations!
