Starting Next Year, a ‘Finance Subject’ Will Be Introduced in South Korean High School
Starting in 2025, a new elective course called ‘Finance and Economic Life’ will be introduced in the South Korean high school curriculum. The course aims to prevent potential financial issues in situations like taking out a first loan or signing a first home contract. Students will be able to select this course in the first half of next year, and it will be implemented for second-year high school students starting in the 2026 academic year.
