Top 6 Rooftop Cafes and Bars in Haebangchon, Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea

Haebangchon is a neighborhood in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea, covering most of Yongsan 2-ga and parts of Yongsan 1-ga. “Haebang” means “liberation” and “chon” means “village,” reflecting the area’s history as a settlement for people returning from overseas, those who moved south from the north, and refugees from the Korean War, all settling here after Korea’s liberation in 1945.
