Travelers No Longer Required to Take the PCR Tests Upon Arrival in Korea From Oct. 1. 2022

Travelers were mandated to take the PCR tests within one day of arrival in Korea. However, the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced that from midnight on October 1 2022, all mandatory PCR tests will be lifted.

✅ From October 1 2022, travelers are no longer required to take the PCR test upon arrival in Korea.

✅ Those who show symptoms of COVID-19 within three days of arrival can receive a free PCR test at the public health centers.
