Up to 10cm of Snow Expected Tonight in Seoul and Gyeonggi, South Korea

Heavy snow is Forecast to Fall Starting Early This Morning, With Up to 8 cm in Seoul and Up to 10 cm in the Eastern Areas of Gyeonggi

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it will implement the first stage of its emergency snow removal operations starting at 10 PM on the 11th, deploying snow removal vehicles and equipment in preparation for the snowfall. Before the snow starts, a total of 5,295 personnel and 1,116 snow removal vehicles will be dispatched to spread salt and check the operation of automatic snow removal equipment.

Gyeonggi Province will also focus on thorough follow-up snow removal at public transportation stops, alleys, and side streets, while maintaining nearby snow removal stations to minimize inconvenience for residents and ensure safety. For those in Seoul and Gyeonggi, please be cautious on snowy roads!
