Six Hangang Park swimming pools opened on June 20th this year, offering a delightful getaway for enjoying Seoul’s Han River. What’s special this year is that the Jamsil Water Park has transformed into a natural water park by removing artificial structures like concrete and paving blocks to create more green space. The Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Han River Development Headquarters has announced plans to convert the Gwangnaru Hangang Park swimming pool into a natural water park by next year, and the Jamwon and Mangwon Hangang Park swimming pools by 2028.
As for admission fees, children up to 5 years old can enter for free. For swimming pools, the fee is 3,000 won for children, 4,000 won for teenagers, and 5,000 won for adults, while water parks charge 1,000 won for children, 2,000 won for teenagers, and 3,000 won for adults.
