2024 Korean National Team’s Outlook for Paris Olympics : 9 Gold Medals, 10th Ranking Overall

According to the medal forecast for the 2024 Paris Olympics released by the U.S. data analysis firm Gracenote, South Korea is expected to earn 9 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals, ranking 10th overall. South Korea is predicted to dominate in archery men‘s and women’s team events as well as mixed team events, securing 3 gold medals. An Se-young in women‘s singles badminton is also expected to claim a gold medal. The men’s Sabre and women‘s Épée fencing teams are also identified as contenders for gold medals. Gold medals are also anticipated in sport climbing, taekwondo, and weightlifting. Meanwhile, the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee aims for 5 gold medals and a 15th place overall.
