4 Of Our Favorite Places to Go Ice Skating in Seoul

Winter is in full swing in Seoul. Through January and February, visiting an ice rink is a great activity option! ⛸️

1. Grand Hyatt Seoul Ice Rink

This outdoor ice rink is located on the garden level of the Grand Hyatt Seoul hotel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It has been used as a backdrop for various Korean dramas and commercials. You can enjoy skating while enjoying the night view of Seoul. You can also enjoy coffee or hot chocolate with your ticket purchase. The rink also offers ice skating lessons for those who have a ticket. This year, the rink is open until February 29.

2. Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul Ice Rink

The outdoor pool at Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul turns into an ice rink in the winter. Located in Namsan, it offers beautiful panoramic views of Seoul. The rink is decorated with LED lights and is open until February 18 this year.

3. Lotte World Ice Garden

Located on the third basement level of Lotte World in Jamsil, this indoor ice rink is open all year round, so you can visit anytime. It is famous for its beautiful glass dome on the ceiling. At night, you can enjoy the night view of Lotte World theme parks and parades that make you feel like you’re at a festival.

4. Seoul Plaza Ice Skating Rink

Run by the city of Seoul, this ice skating rink has a rink for beginners and a rink for advanced skaters. It’s a great place for families, friends, couples, and anyone else to hang out and enjoy Seoul in the middle of the city center.
