5 Best Han River Parks for a Great Walk in Seoul, Korea

Ichon Han River Park

It’s a beautiful spot for watching the sunset. It’s especially nice to view the sunset against the backdrop of Yeouido. Since it’s frequented more by locals than tourists, you can experience a very authentic side of Seoul. It’s also recommended for those who enjoy photography.

Mangwon Han River Park

This spot is also conveniently close to Mangwon Market, one of Seoul’s major markets where you can enjoy a variety of foods. With its expansive views, it’s great for contemplation, and the balance between walking paths and resting areas is excellent.

The park is an exciting place with various attractions, festivals, and food pop-ups nearby. You can also enjoy views of Namsan Seoul Tower. The Rainbow Fountain is a famous highlight as well. It’s recommended as a spot where you can experience the diversity of Seoul.

It also hosts a range of events such as the Rose Park and drone light shows. The walking paths and bike lanes are long and straight, making it a great place for a walk. You can enjoy spectacular views of Yeouido while crossing the Yanghwa and Seonyu Bridges. The blend of skyscrapers and greenery creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The expansive open lawn along the riverbank offers a unique and different view compared to other Han River parks.
