While reporting on tensions between North and South Korea, a French news channel published a graphic that depicted the South Korean flag similar to the Japanese flag.

Many Korean netizens reacted to the mistake by commenting that they were offended by the red circle in the center of the flag. Several French netizens commented that the media channel is known for its unprofessionalism and that the error does not represent the France’s view of South Korea.
