A Long-standing Dakgalbi Restaurant in Apgujeong, Seoul, Known For Its Delicious Flavors

Do You All Enjoy The K-Food ‘Dakgalbi (닭갈비)’? 

Do you all enjoy the K-Food ‘Dakgalbi (닭갈비)’? It‘s one of Korea’s representative dishes, made by marinating chicken in seasoning and grilling it. Typically, it‘s cooked with chicken, cabbage, onions, carrots, rice cakes, gochujang (red chili paste), chili peppers, and garlic, creating a spicy and savory flavor profile. Sometimes, vegetables or cheese are added to enhance the taste.

We found a real gem, a Dakgalbi restaurant that’s been around for over 30 years in Apgujeong. I had it for dinner tonight and it was fantastic.

We ordered Dakgalbi and added some chewy noodles. They serve a side of cabbage salad, cucumber cold soup, radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, lettuce, and more, perfect for wrapping the meat. The staff carefully cut the chicken thigh meat into thick slices, and it was tender and delicious. You can really feel the quality of the chicken!

After finishing everything, we ordered fried rice to enjoy it with the remaining sauce. If you‘re a fan of Dakgalbi, you should definitely give it a try.
