A Man With Two Dancer Identities, J-Black & J-Pink

[elementor-template id=”4369″]

Jo Jin-su is a South Korean dancer who has two dancer names: J-Black, a hip-hop dancer, and J-Pink, a girlish dancer.

J-Black started dancing when he was 25, an age very late to start for street dancers. His dancing career wasn’t a smooth sail, sometimes only having KRW 30,000 (USD 30) in his pocket for a living.

At the age of 29, his hard work paid off when he got first place in the hip-hop category at the international battle ‘4 DA NEXT LEVEL Vol.2’ in 2009.

In 2013, his new identity ‘J-Pink’ was created on a lark. One of his friends put down his name as ‘J-Pink’ at a competition as a joke. The audience’s reaction was better than expected, so from then on, he started having two identities as J-Black and J-Pink.

His powerful dance moves and positive vibes are one of his greatest strength. You can see his unique dance style in the videos below 🙂
