Lotte Chilsung Beverage Is Introducing A New Product Called ’Saero Soju With Apricot Flavor‘

This new release is a zero-sugar soju Saero with added apricot juice to reduce the typical bitterness of soju and enhance its freshness, featuring an alcohol content of 12%. It aims to provide a refreshing taste by reducing the sweetness compared to conventional fruit-flavored soju. Would you like to try apricot-flavored soju?

Introduction To ’Saero‘ Brand:

Saero(새로) soju was launched by Lotte Chilsung Beverage in September 2022. It is a non-sweetened diluted soju with the addition of distilled soju to bring out the taste of distilled soju. The name ’Saero‘ seems to originate from the Spanish word ’cero,‘ meaning ’zero.‘

The number ’257‘ on the product originates from the address of the mascot character ’Saerogumi,‘ which is ’257 Sange-ri, Okgye-myeon, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do, South Korea.‘

In mid-April 2023, 640ml PET products were launched, and since August 2023, they have also been sold in overseas markets, including North America.
