A New Gallery with a View of Seokchon Lake is Set to Open in Songpa-gu, Seoul, in November 2024

This November (November 2024), an art museum called ”The Gallery Hosu“ will open at Seokchon Lake located in Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. ”Hosu“ means ”Lake“ in Korean. The Gallery Hosu will be the first standalone gallery building established by the district government, covering an area of approximately 423 pyeong (15,055 square feet) with a total floor area of about 214 pyeong (7,615 square feet), located at the eastern part of Seokchon Lake. It will consist of two exhibition halls—one underground (about 77 pyeong or 2,741 square feet) and one above ground (about 47 pyeong or 1,673 square feet). Additionally, a rooftop observatory will be built, offering a panoramic view of the beautiful Seokchon Lake.
