A Sculpture by Korean Artist Park Eun Sun Has Been Installed at the Colosseum in Rome, Italy

Large sculptures by the Korean artist Park Eun Sun have been installed at the Colosseum Archaeological Park and Piazza Bocca della Verità (Square of the Mouth of Truth), iconic landmarks representing Rome, Italy. This exhibition, which celebrates the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Italy, features five of his large sculptures. His work is titled “Colonna Infinita.”

Some Information About The Artist, Park Eun Sun

Park Eun Sun, who has been actively working in Pietrasanta, Italy, considered a mecca of sculptural art, for 31 years, has been recognized for his contributions to the field of sculpture by becoming the third foreigner to be awarded honorary citizenship of Pietrasanta.

In 2015, Park Eun Sun became the first Korean artist to host a solo exhibition at Pisa International Airport in Italy, a display that spanned two years. That same year, he received invitations to showcase his work at the historic sites of Forte di Bard and Villa Ghirlanda Silva, solidifying his reputation in Italy as a sculptor. In 2018, he also received the ‘Fratelli Rosselli Award,’ an honor given to the best sculptors. He also participated in the prestigious Bad RagARTz event in Switzerland, which takes place every three years, joining the ranks of world-renowned sculptors. Throughout his career, he has held over 50 solo exhibitions and taken part in more than 200 group exhibitions across various European locations.
