Actor Lee Sun-kyun Is Under Police Investigation For Allegedly Taking Drugs

Among those suspected of doing drugs together are Hwang Hana, the only granddaughter of the founder of Namyang Dairy Products, who has a history of drugs, and Han Seo-hee, an aspiring singer.

Eight people, including Lee Sun-kyun, are suspected of injecting drugs on multiple occasions this year at nightclubs and residences in Gangnam, Seoul. Last month, police received news that drugs were being distributed in Gangnam nightclubs.

Lee Sun-kyun’s agency, HODU&U Entertainment, issued a statement on the same day, saying, “Lee Seon-kyun has been receiving continuous blackmail and threats from persons involved in the case. We are checking the exact facts of the allegations made against the actor, and we will sincerely cooperate with the investigation by the investigation agency.”

Ads for Products In Which Actor Lee Acted As An Model Have Been Removed

Ads for children’s educational content and dietary supplement products in which Lee Sun-kyun acted as an advertising model have been removed.

In addition, the broadcasting and movie industries are on high alert. It is virtually impossible to reshoot movies starring Lee Sun-kyun that have already been filmed, either by editing or by replacing actors.

In particular, his upcoming movie “Project Silence,” which was invited to the 76th Cannes International Film Festival, is a major production that cost nearly 20 billion won.
