After 4 Years, the Korean Movie ‘Wonderland’ Finally Confirms Its Release

Director Kim Tae-yong’s new film, “Wonderland,” will finally be released on June 5, 2024. Although it finished filming in 2020, its release was postponed due to COVID-19. “Wonderland” tells the story of people reuniting with their loved ones through an AI-powered video call service that restores deceased individuals.

Featuring a star-studded cast including Suzy, Park Bo-gum, Choi Woo-shik, Jung Yu-mi, Tang Wei, and Gong Yoo, the film garnered significant attention from its production stage due to its impressive casting. The teaser trailer, unveiled alongside the release date, showcases various individuals reconnecting with their loved ones through the AI-powered video call service provided by “Wonderland.”
