Billboard, An American Music Entertainment Media Brand, Is Officially Launching In Korea

‘Billboard Korea’ will be published in June, starting with the publication of the inaugural issue, ‘Billboard K Vol. 1‘. Prior to the publication of the first issue, the official website and digital platform will be launched in April and May. With this launch, Billboard Korea joins a growing list of international editions of Billboard International publications, including Billboard Japan, Billboard Arabia, Billboard Spain, Billboard Brazil and more.

It will not only promote K-pop to global fans around the world, but also provide information on American entertainment in Korea.

????What Is ‘Billboard Charts’?

It is a chart under the global media group Penske Media Corporation (PMC), which is recognized as an authority in the global pop world. PMC acquired Billboard in 2020 and has been operating it ever since. PMC also acquired American music magazine Rolling Stone in 2016.
