Seoul City Is Conducting Various Campaigns For Environmental Protection

Baseball stadiums are among the sports facilities with the highest amount of waste generated per person. At Jamsil Baseball Stadium, an annual 86 tons of waste is produced. Under this agreement, 38 food and beverage outlets in Jamsil Stadium will provide reusable containers instead of disposable ones.

Seoul City plans to install this year‘s Seoul Color (SkyCoral) cups, bowls, and lunch boxes, as well as return bins at Jamsil Stadium. The used containers will be collected and cleaned by the Seoul Metropolitan Welfare Center Association. It is said that periodic hygiene inspections will be conducted to maintain hygiene standards ten times stricter than those of ordinary private hygiene standards.
