Incheon International Airport Corporation has canceled its plan to introduce a dedicated entrance procedure for celebrities and public figures just a day before its implementation (October 27, 2024). This decision appears to be in response to public criticism and controversy over perceived privileges. As a result, the plan for celebrities to depart through a separate entrance from regular passengers has been scrapped.

Incheon International Airport Corporation stated that it will review international airport practices and develop measures to ensure the safety of airport users and reduce congestion in the future.
