The city of Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, will temporarily operate a ”Special Customized Cherry Blossom Route“ from April 4 to April 7, 2025. The Mangyeong River Cherry Blossom Road stretches 13.5 km from Jeonju Stream to the Mangyeong River. Every spring, it becomes a popular attraction where countless citizens and tourists come to enjoy the fully bloomed cherry blossoms. However, due to limited public transportation access, most visitors rely on private vehicles, leading to parking shortages and traffic congestion during the cherry blossom season.
The special route will take approximately 70 to 80 minutes for a round trip and will operate five times a day. The fare is 500 KRW, the same as a regular village bus, making it an affordable option for visitors.
In addition to this special route, village buses No. 40, 41, and 49 also partially cover this area. Notably, Bus No. 49 has the same starting (World Cup Stadium) and ending points, allowing passengers to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms with just a one-way fare.
If you’re planning a cherry blossom outing this week, be sure to take advantage of this service!
