What’s Yook-Kal?

It’s the combination of two words – Yookgaejang and Kalguksu.

  • Yookgaejang is a Korean spicy beef soup made with shredded beef, scallions, seasoned bracken, and other vegetables. It is servied with the rice.
  • Kalguksu is a Korean handmade, knife-cut noodle dish consisting of wheat flour noodles and vegetables.

Yook-Kal is a shortened word for ‘Yookgaejang Kalgooksu.’
