Heavy Snowfall Hits Korea

Korea witnessed the coldest day of the season on Friday (December 23).

Amid a cold wave advisory, about 300 flights were canceled due to heavy snowfall of more than 50 centimeters all over Jeju Island. It is expected that there will be additional flight cancellations this weekend.

In Seoul, this morning’s temperature was fallen to minus 13.5 C.
