Hyundai Motor Unveiled Its Next-generation Airframe, the S-A2, at CES 2024

Supernal, Hyundai Motor Group’s independent future air mobility (AAM) company, has unveiled a mock-up of its next-generation airframe at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, USA. ????️

What Is Hyundai’s S-A2?

• The S-A2 is an eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-off and Landing) aircraft being developed by Hyundai Motor Group.

• It was newly introduced four years after the first vision concept was presented in 2020.

• It is 10 meters long and 15 meters wide and can seat five people, including the pilot.

• It can fly at an altitude of up to 400 to 500 meters with a cruising speed of up to 200 kilometers per hour.

• When commercialized in 2028, it will be able to fly around 60 kilometers within urban centers.
