In Seoul, Jongno Street Food Stalls Are Being Reorganized

The Street Food Stalls In The Jongno 5-ga Neighborhood, Seoul, Are Known For Their Korean Culture Of Drinking And Eating

However, recently, they’ve received a lot of criticism, including controversy over bargains and card payment refusals. More than 60 food stalls have reportedly voluntarily joined the reorganization to self-reflect on their mistakes. During the reorganization, they have announced that they will introduce various initiatives, such as cleaning of ventilation and tableware, introducing a fixed price system, and discussing with the ward office allowing card payments.

We look forward to eating some great Korean street food in Jongno 5-ga again!
