For the first time ever, KCON will held three events in three days in LA this year.
To further highlight KCON’s uniqueness and increase audience pleasure, it is planned that the program will include a variety of directing components, such as artist collaboration stages and reflecting the audience’s wish list.
A return of the “Dream Stage,” which made its debut at “KCON 2022 LA” last year and garnered a fantastic reception, is also planned for this year.
KCON is a yearly festival that is hosted all over the world and was founded by Koreaboo and CJ E&M. Since its debut in Southern California in 2012, it has grown to include ten nations as of 2022. 2015 marked KCON’s expansion into Japan. Shortly after, the East Coast’s first KCON USA was announced.
“KCON is not just about making money,” said Shin Hyung-kwan, head of CJ E&M’s Mnet contents unit. “The potential that the event creates for the next five, ten, and twenty years is more significant than the numbers. The company’s objectives included boosting the expansion of its goods and services for the international market by strengthening alliances with Korean small and medium-sized businesses,” she added.
