Korean Air to Introduce 50 New Boeing Aircraft, Valued at 30 Trillion KRW

Korean Air Is Acquiring A Total Of 50 New Boeing Medium And Large Aircraft Worth Approximately ₩30 Trillion

Korean Air and Boeing signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Farnborough International Airshow in Hampshire, England, to acquire 20 Boeing 777-9s and 30 Boeing 787-10s (with 10 options).

The 777-9 improves fuel efficiency by more than 10 percent and has a range of more than 13,000 kilometers, enabling nonstop service to all U.S. destinations from Incheon International Airport. This makes it ideal for long-haul routes. The 787-10 will be utilized primarily on medium- and long-haul routes with high passenger demand.
