Korean Passport Power Ranks 3rd in the World

According To The Newly Released ‘Henley Passport Index’, South Korea‘s Passport Allows Visa-free Entry To 191 Countries, Ranking Jointly Third In The World

Countries sharing the third spot with South Korea are Austria, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Singapore retains the top spot for the second consecutive year with visa-free entry to 195 countries, while France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain are jointly ranked second. Afghanistan ranks lowest this year at 103rd place, continuing from last year’s position.

This year‘s survey included 227 destinations. An official from the Index stated, ”Overall, the number of destinations that international travelers can visit visa-free has doubled to an average of 111 destinations, compared to 58 in 2006. However, significant disparities in global mobility have led to the largest-ever gap between high-ranking and low-ranking countries.“
