South Korea’s Largest Ferris Wheel Is Set To Rise 220 Meters High In Sangam-dong, Seoul

Seoul “Twin Eye” (tentative name), the largest Ferris wheel in Korea, is expected to become a landmark in Seoul. Twin Eye is a twin wheel with intersecting rings, the first of its kind in the world and the largest in the world. The Ferris wheel will consist of 64 capsules and accommodate 1440 people per cycle. It will be installed 40 meters above the ground to maximize the magnificent view.

It Will Be A Large Cultural Complex Centered Around A Ferris Wheel

The area around the Ferris wheel will be home to everything from theaters and exhibition halls to restaurants and commercial facilities. There will also be a monorail connecting the subway station to the Ferris wheel, as well as a zip line that will take you down the line. It is a large-scale project that will cost a whopping KRW 90.2 billion. The city of Seoul is aiming to start construction in 2025 after verifying the eligibility of the project.
