‘Kyobo Bookstore’ Is Selected as ‘Future Heritage of Seoul, Korea’

Seoul Metropolitan Government has selected “Kyobo Bookstore” in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, as the “Future Heritage of Seoul.”

What is the “Future Heritage of Seoul”?

Seoul appoints “Future Heritage of Seoul” to identify and preserve the phenomenal value of Korean culture and tradition, thereby turning the city into one of the world’s favorite destinations for culture and art.

There are the tangible and intangible subjects over 505 since its first began in 2013.

First opened in 1981, Kyobo Bookstore of Gwanghwamun is the biggest bookstore in South Korea. Kyobo’ is a bookstore chain, and there are 10 stores in Korea while having ‘Gwanghwamun’ branch as the main flagship store.
