1. 36 Months of Loss

馃搷Art Sonje Center, The Ground (Hanok) 馃搮 7 Feb 16 – May 12, 2024

Dan Lie presents his first solo exhibition in South Korea. Based in Berlin with roots in both Indonesia and Brazil, Lie showcases new works based on personal experiences and research on Korean traditional culture. In 2024, marking the third anniversary of the artist’s father’s passing, Dan Lee reinterprets the Korean funeral culture by presenting his own mourning style using materials such as sambe (Korean traditional paper), straw, and earthenware.

2. Philippe Parreno : VOICES

馃搷LEEUM 馃搮 Feb 28 – July 7, 2024

The first solo exhibition in South Korea by a French artist Philippe Parreno showcasing philosophical reflections on reality and virtuality, nature and technology. This exhibition is composed of major works representing Parreno’s 30-year career as well as new works.

3. Lee Kyung Jun Photo Exhibition : One Step Away

馃搷Ground Seesaw Central 馃搮 October 27, 2023 – Mar 31, 2024

This is a photography exhibition capturing the patterns within the vast urban landscape through the lens of New York-based photographer Lee Kyung Jun.

4. Lucio Fontana : Spatial Concept

馃搷Sorol Art Museum 馃搮 Feb 14 – Apr 14, 2024

This exhibition focuses on the spatial art of the master of Italian contemporary art, Lucio Fontana. The artist solely encapsulates the form, color, and sculptural quality in space and attempts to extend the artwork into the fourth dimension by incorporating the movements of the spectators.

5. KIAN84 EXHIBITION : KIANDO floating on SEOUL

馃搷Daelim Changgo 馃搮 7 Mar 23 – Apr 20, 2024

KIAN84 is a South Korean cartoonist and entertainer. His notable work includes the webtoon ‘Fashion King.’ This marks his second solo exhibition, as he has recently been more actively involved as an entertainer and painter, transitioning from his career as a cartoonist. Through this exhibition, he shares insights into the feelings of ‘once again’ and ‘anew’ that he s experienced in life.

6. Artbuddy The Luxury ‘The New Luxe’

馃搷Arttag Haus 馃搮 7 Feb 21 – Mar 24, 2024

An exhibition commemorating the luxury art brand ‘ArtBuddy Luxury Brand’. Featuring artworks by Alex Katz, Michael Craig-Martin, and Kim Dae-ho, visitors can enjoy the encounter between art and luxury at this exhibition.

7. Mari Sarai’s New York – The Abyss

馃搷Gallery MUMO 馃搮 7 Feb 15 – Apr 7, 2024

The debut solo exhibition in Seoul of Mari Sarai, a photographer and director who collaborates with various Hollywood actors and stages activities in New York, London, and Tokyo. As the exhibition title suggests, Mari Sarai presents works that delve into the depths of New York City. The exhibition features a diverse range of artworks, including collaborations with world-renowned model Raquel Zimmermann, T么ko Miura from the Letter FROM NEW YRK Cannes Film Festival award-winning film Drive My Car” (2021), and more.
