A small And Adorable Pomeranian Patrolling The Streets Of Seoul Has Become A Sensation On Social Media

The puppy, named ‘Hodu(호두)’, is a 3-year-old Pomeranian who serves in the ‘canine patrol unit’ in the Seongdong-gu district of Seoul. The canine patrol unit conducts routine neighborhood patrols while walking their dogs and notifies the police or local authorities if any dangers are detected.

In Seongdong-gu, there are a total of 46 teams of canine patrol units, including Hodu. Mr. Eom, Hodu‘s owner, stated, ”Even while walking, if non-pet pedestrians seem uncomfortable, I adjust the leash or always carry poop bags to take good care of my dog.“
