Michelin Guide Seoul Announces ‘Bib Gourmand 2024’

The Michelin Guide, a restaurant guide published in more than 50 locations around the world, has announced the 2024 Bib Gourmand list of restaurants in Seoul. Seoul Bib Gourmand is not a Michelin Guide star (1-3), but it’s a place where people can enjoy great food at a reasonable price. Restaurants with an average price tag of KRW 45,000 or less are eligible.

They include Korean restaurants, Mexican and Thai restaurants, and more. This is the first time a Mexican restaurant has made the list since the publication of the Seoul Bib Gourmand began in 2016. “Mexican food has been slow to develop in Korea, so we wanted to introduce sophisticated flavors from Mexico,” said the chef of the Mexican restaurant. “We use traditional hand-pressed tortillas as the basic base and utilize seasonal ingredients from Korea.

Of the 57 restaurants on the list, six are new to the list this year. I’ve attached them separately with photos of the food!
