The Seoul City plans to create a dramatic moment when the new year rises with this giant solar structure, accompanied by the ringing of the New Year’s Eve bells. It will illuminate Sejong-daero for about an hour after the New Year’s Eve countdown.

It is a major arterial road in Seoul, South Korea, running from Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace, through Taeupyeong-ro, to the vicinity of Seoul Station. Major stops for public transportation include Seoul Station, Sungnyemun, Seoul City Hall, and Gwanghwamun.
