Netflix is Holding a Grand Press Event for Its Highly Anticipated Global Series Squid Game 2

The production press conference for Netflix‘s original series Squid Game 2 will take place on December 9, 2024, at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Art Hall in Seoul. A total of 160 foreign journalists and influencers from 22 countries, including the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, the UK, Spain, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Japan, Australia, Taiwan, the Philippines, India, and Thailand, will attend the event, excluding the domestic press. After the conference, the international media will have the opportunity to meet with the main cast of Squid Game 2—Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Im Si-wan, and Jo Yu-ri—to hear in-depth discussions about the show.

Meanwhile, Squid Game 2 follows the story of Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), who returns to the game seeking revenge, and his fierce confrontation with the Frontman (Lee Byung-hun), as the real game begins once again. Directed, written, and produced by Hwang Dong-hyuk, who made history by becoming the first Asian director to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, the series promises to be another thrilling season.
