Starting from three months into pregnancy to three months after childbirth, pregnant women residing in Seoul will receive a voucher worth 700,000 won per person. They will also be eligible for support ranging from public transportation expenses such as buses, subways, and trains to taxis and fuel expenses, without any geographical restrictions.
This comes as a result of amendments to the Seoul Metropolitan Government‘s childbirth and childcare support ordinance, eliminating the residency requirement in the ‘Pregnant Women’s Transportation Expenses’ support program.
