It is a South Korean low-cost carrier operating a range of domestic and international routes, including Gimpo–Taipei and Daegu–Taipei. T’way Air was the first low-cost airline in South Korea to establish flights to both Daegu and Gwangju. The Daegu–Jeju route has been operating five times daily since March 30, 2014 (with additional flights), while the Gwangju–Jeju route has been running three times daily since September 4, 2014. The Cheongju–Jeju route was launched in April 2020, with six daily flights.
T’way Air, recently acquired by the Sono Hospitality Group, will change its name to Trinity Airways in the first half of 2026. The name “Trinity” derives from the Latin word Trinitas, meaning “three become one to achieve completeness.”
According to the company, the rebranding symbolizes its vision to go beyond aviation, combining accommodations and travel to provide customers with richer experiences. The name change also marks the official beginning of the synergy between T’way Air and the Sono Hospitality Group.
