Situated along Seoul‘s Cheonggyecheon, this charming ’outdoor library‘ offers the perfect setting for a picnic with books. It is open only two days a week, providing comfortable seats, tables, and boxes filled with good reads. How about enjoying a leisurely read under the pleasant weather while listening to the sound of the water?
Oh! And let me introduce the unique red chairs in the image. These ’Form & Foam‘ chairs were created through the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s ‘Fun Design Project.’ Designed by the industrial design studio BKID, they are made from eco-friendly EPP (Expanded Polypropylene). This material is 100% recyclable, UV-resistant, and provides a cushioned feel, making it perfect for extended outdoor use.
These chairs convey the value of creative and sustainable design, going beyond simple relaxation. Sitting in one of these chairs and opening a book, you can experience peace and harmony even amidst the urban noise.
