Seoraksan National Park Graphic Handkerchief, Bandanas & Scarves
Designated as the fifth national park in South Korea in 1970 and designated as a natural monument in 1965, Seoraksan is an area internationally recognized for its conservation value. In 1982, it was designated and managed as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. Seoraksan National Park covers a total area of 398.237 square kilometers, spanning across Inje-gun, Goseong-gun, Yangyang-gun, and Sokcho-si. The area towards Inje is referred to as Inner Seorak, while the area towards Han-gye-ryeong and Osaek is referred to as Southern Seorak. The eastern part, which includes Sokcho-si, Yangyang-gun, and parts of Goseong-gun, is known as Outer Seorak. Seoraksan boasts over 30 majestic peaks, including the main peak, Daecheongbong, as well as Sogeumgang, Jungcheongbong, and Hwachaebong.
