Ranking of the Most Desired Countries to Live In Worldwide Revealed: Where Does South Korea Rank?

On July 4th, 1st Move International released the results of their analysis of Google search data, revealing that ”Canada“ was ranked as the number one most desired country to relocate to. Over the past year, there were a staggering 1.5 million searches related to ’immigrating/relocating to Canada.‘ As of 2021, there are a total of 8.3 million immigrants living in Canada, making up 23% of the total population.

Canada took the top spot, followed by Australia, New Zealand, and Spain. The United Kingdom ranked 5th, and Portugal came in 6th. Among Asian countries, Japan was the only one to make it into the top 10, ranking 7th. Rounding out the list were Germany, France, and Switzerland in 8th, 9th, and 10th places, respectively. Meanwhile, the United States and South Korea did not make it into the top 10.
