RM, the leader of the group BTS, has been appointed as the ambassador for the Ministry of National Defense Agency for KIA Recovery & Identification.

Over 123,000 patriots lost their lives in the Korean War, but their bodies were left behind in uncharted mountains and fields that were never recovered.

This agency is a unit under the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea that carries out a veterans’ project to excavate the remains of the dead and send them to the arms of their families.

RM plans to promote the strategy for the remains of the excavation project in the future.

“I feel a sense of pride and a great sense of responsibility,” RM added, “because excavating the remains of the dead is to respect all those who gave their lives to defend our country and set the best example for them.”
