Seoul City to Launch the Nation’s First Late-Night Autonomous Taxi Service

Starting from September 26, 2024, Seoul City lanches the nation’s first late-night autonomous taxi service in the Gangnam area, a designated pilot zone for autonomous vehicles. The service operates on weekdays from 11 PM to 5 AM the following day. Initially, it will cover selected areas, including Yeoksam, Daechi, Dogok, and Samseong-dong in Gangnam-gu and parts of Seocho-gu. Based on demand and service stability, the service aims to expand throughout the entire Gangnam pilot zone by the first.
