Seoul City’s New Slogan Is In a Public Vote

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that 4 options for Seoul city’s new slogan will be  out to a public vote from Dec 28, 2022, through Jan 31,2023.

The selected slogan will replace the current slogan of ‘I·Seoul·U’ in the upcoming February, 2023.

The 4 slogans are :

  1. “Seoul for you”
  2. “Amazing Seoul”
  3. “Seoul, my soul”
  4. “Make it happen, Seoul.”

Anyone, regardless of nationality or place of residence, can vote on the city website. As it will be available both in Korean and English, we will provide the link.

‘I·Seoul·U’ has been Seoul city’s slogan for about 8 years, since being selected through a public contest in 2015 under former Mayor. However, this summer, current Seoul Mayor, Mr. Oh Se-hoon said that as the current slogan is less appealing and competitive compared to those of other global cities, it decided to change.

Which slogan out of 4 options do you like the most?
