SNL Korea Confirms Production for Season 5

SNL Korea Confirms Production For Season

The first host will be actor Im Si-wan, and the premiere date has yet to be confirmed. We’re looking forward to seeing what Im SI-wan will do on SNL, as he’s been known for his witty and comical performances on the Korean drama “Boyhood,” which premiered in November and December of last year.

What’s SNL Korea?

It first premiered on tvN in December 2011. It is a program produced under license from NBC’s long-running comedy program ‘SNL’ (Saturday Night Live) in the United States.

After ending in 2017 with season 9, the show was revived in 2021 after a four-year hiatus when Astory signed a production deal with NBC Universal, part of the Universal Studios Group, which holds the SNL rights. After signing an exclusive streaming service deal with Coupang Play, the show has been airing since September 2021.
