Starting This School Year, Serious Bullying Offenses Will Remain On The Student’s School Record For Four Years After Graduation

The four-year retention period applies to the following disciplinary actions: 6 (attendance suspension), 7 (class rotation), 8 (transfer), and 9 (expulsion). The retention period has been increased from two to four years in order to address the impact on university enrollment and employment, but the other provisions remain the same. Amidst concerns, the Ministry of Education explained that it has made the system more effective by making the criteria for deleting abuse records more stringent.
