Vietnam is ranked No. 1 country in percapita for instant noodle ramen consumption. This is the first time Korea ranked second place ever since 2013. By using the 2021 global ramen market data released by World Instant Noodles Association (WINA), one of the biggest Korean ramen manufacturers ‘Nongshim’ announced that Vietnam ranked the highest consumption, with 87 ramen consumption per capita. South Korea ranked second with 73, and Nepal ranked third with 55.

Most countries are found to prefer bag ramen noodles to cup ramen noodles, but Mexico and Japan found to be enjoying cup ramen noodles more. Especially in Mexico, cup ramen noodles take 89% of all the consumption.
