South Korean Actor Song Jae-rim Has Passed Away At The Age of 39

According to the Seoul Seongdong Police Station on November 12, 2024, Song Jae-rim was found deceased at his home in Seongdong District at approximately 12:30 p.m. A friend who had arranged to meet him for lunch visited his home, discovered Song, and reported it to the police. Reports indicate that a note was found at the scene.

Song Jae-rim made his debut in the 2009 film Actresses and began to gain popularity with his role as a royal bodyguard in the MBC drama The Moon Embracing the Sun. In 2014, he appeared on the variety show We Got Married, further raising his profile. He later starred in dramas such as Cool Guys, Hot Ramen, Inspiring Generation, Two Weeks, Goodbye Mr. Black, and Queen Woo. His final work was the musical The Rose of Versailles, which closed on October 13, 2024.
