‘Squid Game’, the First-Ever Non-English Emmy Nominee

The Netflix’s ‘Squid Game’ has become a first-ever non-English TV series to be nominated in the Emmy Award, known as the Television Academy.

It was nominated for 14 categories, including drama series, Lee Jung-jae for lead actor, Jung Ho-yeon for supporting actress, Park hae-soo and Oh Yeong-su for supporting actor.

Let’s keep an eye on the Emmy and see if ‘Squid Game’ continues to make history!

Recently, Netflix announced that ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 will be back, directed by the first season’s director Hwang Dong-hyuk.
