Starting From June 2025, It Will Be Possible To Commute By Seoul’s ‘Hangang Bus’

The city of Seoul announced that it will conduct a trial operation starting in early March before the official launch. This will include dock and route inspections, emergency response drills, and crew training to ensure safety. A total of 12 ships will be introduced for the ‘Hangang Bus,’ with 2 of them being backup ships. By the way, the fare will be 3,000 KRW one-way.

Currently, docks are established in Magok, Mangwon, Yeouido, Apgujeong, Ttukseom, and Jamsil. The Oksoo dock is scheduled to be completed in early March. During the initial phase of official operations, the vessels will run at 15-minute intervals during peak commuting hours, and the frequency will be increased as more ships are introduced.
