T1 Wins the League of Legends (LoL) World Championship For the Fourth Time

Lee Sang-hyeok, better known as Faker, is a South Korean professional League of Legends player for T1, lifts the trophy for the Summoner’s Cup. This is the fourth trophy for Team T1 after winning the 2013, 2015, and 2016 trophies.

The 18,000 fans in attendance at the Gocheok Sky Dome erupted in cheers as South Korea’s T1 clinched the championship with a three-set victory over Chinese powerhouse Weibo Gaming (WBG).
